    Shelf Life Details Store in original cartons at 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity.;To obtain best performance, use 3M™ Double Coated Polyester Tapes 442F and 442DL within 18 months from date of manufacture, and 3M™ Double Coated Polyester Tapes 442KW and 442W within 12 months from date of manufacture. Shelf life may be extended by keeping tape poly bagged and refrigerated at or below 50°F (10°C).

    1. Surface Preparation

      To obtain optimum adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and well unified. Some typical surface cleaning solvents are isopropyl alcohol or heptane. Note: Carefully read and follow the manufacturer’s precautions and directions for use when working with solvents. These cleaning recommendations may not be in compliance with the rules of certain Air Quality Management Districts in California

      consult applicable rules before use.

    2. Application
