Description for Bostik BOSC132-59
A water-dispersible aliphatic polyisocyanate. When added to reactive aqueous polymeric dispersions, such as polyurethanes, polychloroprenes and acrylics, Boscodur 132 will react under ambient conditions to increase molecular weight, thereby improving the resistance of the adhesive bonds to moisture, heat, chemicals and solvents.Chemical Resistance Chemical Resistance: solvents resistance Application Type Bond 1 Part or 2 Part 1-Part Material Form Liquid Manufacturer Bostik Chemistry acrylics, water-dispersible aliphatic polyisocyanate, polyurethanes Viscosity (cPs) 250 Color Blue liquid High Temperature Resistance (°C) Heat resistance -

Shelf Life Details Boscodur 132 must be stored in airtight containers at 55-80°F. Aside from original container, it may be stored in aluminum or glass containers using screw closures with polyethylene seals. Containers releasing alkaline substances are not acceptable. Shelf life in original unopened containers is at least six months at 55-80°F. Partially filled containers should be blanketed with dry nitrogen and properly resealed. Moisture, including atmospheric humidity, will spoil this curing agent. Shelf Life Temperature (°F) 131 to 176 Shelf Life (mon) >6 -

Best Practices for Bostik BOSC132-59
-
Mixing
Boscodur 132 is added directly to the aqueous adhesive dispersion under low to moderate speed mechanical agitation just prior to use. Mix for approximately 10 minutes. Avoid high speed, high shear mixing which might introduce air into the adhesive. Typical pot life is about 6 hours
this varies with the type of adhesive. Do not seal containers tightly after mixing, as small amounts of carbon dioxide may be liberated. Typical levels of use are 3-7% by weight based upon the weight of the aqueous dispersion. Refer to individual Bostik product data sheets for recommended level of use.
