  • Best Practices for Bostik ISR 70-03A-SKF

    *See Terms of Use Below

    1. Application

Bostik® 70-03A-SKF can easily be extruded with a handgun or air-pressure gun at temperatures between 45°F to 100°F (5°C to 35°C). In sealing applications, Bostik® 70-03A-SKF should be tooled or finished within 10 minutes (at 20°C/50% R.H.) with a spatula or putty knife, occasionally moistened with a soap solution. Avoid soap solution penetrating between joint sides and sealant which will result in loss of adhesion. In bonding applications, the substrates have to be assembled within 25 minutes (at 20°C/50% R.H.) after applying Bostik® 70-03A-SKF. In general, an adhesive thickness of 0.062-in. or 1/16-in. (2 mm) is recommended.

    2. Clean-Up

Cleaning tools or removing uncured residue of Bostik® 70-03A-SKF can be done with a clean white/colorless cloth, moistened with IPA (Isopropyl alcohol). Check substrate compatibility with IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) before proceeding.
