  • Best Practices for Bostik ISR 70-11

    *See Terms of Use Below

    1. Surface Preparation

For good adhesion, a clean, dry and grease free surface is necessary. In many cases primerless adhesion can be Achieved. Please consult Bostik for advise. Cleaning of the ceramic coated layer can be done with Simson Primer M (a one step pretreatment) or Isopropyl alcohol. The pretreatment with Primer M is also adequate for many closed surfaces like aluminum, coated steel, polyester (GRP).

    2. Clean-Up

Cleaning tools or removing uncured residue of ISR 70-11 can be done with a clean colourless cloth, wetted with SMP Remover or Isopropyl alcohol. It is recommended to make a trial first to check possible attack of the substrate by these cleaners.
