  • Best Practices for Bostik L4145FR

    *See Terms of Use Below

    1. Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be clean and dry. Apply sufficient adhesive to each surface and allow to dry. Wipe one surface with MEK and bond with uniform pressure. Alternate method is to apply to one surface and dry at least 20 minutes. Apply to other surface and while still tacky (within 10 minutes) mate two surfaces with firm uniform pressure.

    2. Application

Prior to use, 4145FR should be mixed until homogeneous. The flame retardant will settle upon sitting and hard pack on the bottom of the container. It is critical to the product’s performance that all of the material is redistributed prior to use.
