Best Practices for Bostik SuperTak LV ET GP Web Aerosol Adhesive
-
Application
Shake can well before using. Hold can 6 to 8 inches away from the surface to be sprayed. Depress spray tip (with arrow pointed away from the body) and apply a light, uniform coating. To prevent clogging, clear tip after each use by inverting can and spray until nozzle clears. High humidity and heavy coverage of adhesive will slow evaporation rate of solvent. Under these conditions, allow for maximum drying time before joining surfaces. For porous substrates, apply adhesive to both surfaces allowing to dry for 1 minute (no more than 5 minutes) before joining. For non-porous substrates, apply adhesive to both surfaces allowing to dry for 2 minutes (no more than 10 minutes) before joining. For non-permanent (or temporary) bonds, apply a light coat to one surface only, let dry for 6 minutes before joining. Always test production pieces of substrate in typical bonding and operating environment for best application techniques and compatibility. Read precautions on label before using. For best results, apply adhesive at temperatures between 50°F (10°C) and 110°F (43°C).
