Best Practices for Bostik SuperTak Trim Adhesive
-
Application
Hold the can 6 to 8 inches away from the surface to be sprayed, depress spray tip—with arrow pointed away from the body—and apply a uniform coating. To clear spray tip, invert can and spray. For porous substrates, spraying a second coat at right angles to the first coat (in a “cross-hatch” pattern) provides better bond strength. For permanent bonding applications, apply a heavy coat to both surfaces. For temporary bonds, apply a light coat to one surface only and bond. Read precautions on label before using. For best results, apply adhesive at temperatures between 50°F and 110°F (10°C and 43°C).
