  • Best Practices for Henkel P5000

    *See Terms of Use Below

    1. Design

Joint design may affect the performance of Bondmaster P5000

    2. Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be bonded should be free of dust, dirt, rust or other loose particles. For optimum performance, solvent wiping with isopropyl alcohol is recommended.

    3. Application

The adhesive should be applied between 4°C (40°F) and 44°C (110°F). When Bondmaster P5000 is used as an adhesive, assemble parts within 15 minutes. Do not apply Bondmaster P5000 to frozen surfaces, over silicones or in the presence of curing silicones.

    4. Curing

Avoid contact with solvents and alcohols during curing
