Best Practices for Dow 244 Fluid
-
Clean-Up
Cleaning with Dow Corning 244, 344 and 345 Fluids is a simple process. Parts to be cleaned are immersed in the cleaning agent with vigorous agitation. Soils are lifted from the surface by the action of the VMS fluids. Cleaning is usually performed at room temperature, although the cleaning action may be enhanced by heating. Dow Corning 244, 344 and 345 Fluids are compatible with a wide range of materials and will not harm most substrates, including metals, plastics and elastomeric materials. Their mild cleaning action also makes them suitable for cleaning multi-material components and devices.
