  • Description for Elantas (Altana) DS-1833

    Contains stable pigments to provide ultimate resistance to heat and light. It is very compatible for use in both epoxy and urethane systems. These color dispersions have been designed to mix equally well with either low or high viscosity systems.

    1. Mixing

      Epoxies:

      Mix the color concentrate with the Resin (Part A) component or total mixed system.

      Urethanes:

      Mix the color concentrate with the Curative (Part B) component or total mixed system.

      Mix the desired concentrate until all striations have disappeared and the material is homogenous.

      Suggested mix proportions:

      For unfilled systems – Use 3 – 5 parts by weight of the color concentrate to 100 parts by weight of the base epoxy Resin or urethane Curative, or 2% – 4% by weight of the total mixed system.

      For filled systems – Use 2 – 3 parts by weight of the color concentrate to100 parts by weight of the base epoxy Resin or urethane Curative.
