  • Best Practices for Elantas (Altana) DS-1836

    *See Terms of Use Below

    1. Mixing

      Epoxies:

Mix the color concentrate with the Resin (Part A) component or total mixed system.

      Urethanes:

Mix the color concentrate with the Curative (Part B) component or total mixed system.

Mix the desired concentrate until all striations have disappeared and the material is homogenous.

      Suggested mix proportions:

For unfilled systems – Use 3 – 5 parts by weight of the color concentrate to 100 parts by weight of the base epoxy Resin or urethane Curative, or 2% – 4% by weight of the total mixed system.

For filled systems – Use 2 – 3 parts by weight of the color concentrate to100 parts by weight of the base epoxy Resin or urethane Curative.
