    1. Surface Preparation

      Porcelain and glass surfaces should be dry and clean before application. If silicone (or other) grease has been previously used on the insulators, this should be completely removed by wiping and the surface cleaned with isopropyl alcohol before application of the SYLGARD HVIC.
