    1. Surface Preparation

      The maximum performance of TECTYL® 1426 HAPS Free Amber can be achieved only when the metal surfaces to be protected are clean, dry and free of rust, oil and mill scale. TECTYL® Industrial Products recommends that the metal substrate temperature be 50-95°F (10-35°C) at the time of product application.

    2. Application

      TECTYL® 1426 HAPS Free Amber is formulated to be used as supplied. Ensure uniform consistency prior to use. Continued stirring is generally not required. If the product thickens due to cold storage or loss of water and coalescing solvent during use, contact TECTYL® Industrial Products. DO NOT THIN TECTYL®1426 HAPS Free Amber. Incorrect thinning will affect film build, dry time and product performance. TECTYL® Industrial Products recommends that the ambient and product temperature be 50 - 95?F (10 - 35?C) at time of application. TECTYL® 1426 HAPS Free Amber can be dip applied. DO NOT FREEZE TECTYL®1426 HAPS Free Amber.

    3. Removal

      The dry film is not normally intended for removal. The product can be stenciled over after the film is cured. Tectyl® WBS-B, citrus or alkaline cleaner will remove fresh residue accumulated on application equipment. If removability is a factor, contact TECTYL® Industrial Products and samples should be evaluated prior to application.
