Best Practices for Elantas (Altana) MR-5002

Surface Preparation
For best surface finish of the cast part, lightly buff the inside of the mold with a clean, lint-free cloth after drying the release agent. It is recommended that the release be reapplied after each demold cycle to prevent sticking.

Application
Apply CONAP® MR-5002 to clean molds by dip, brush, spray, or slosh. Dry excess release from the mold and air dry 10-15 minutes, or bake 5 minutes at 140°F.

Clean-Up
Clean metal molds with acetone or MEK. Clean plastic molds with isopropyl alcohol.
