  • Best Practices for Bostik Chem-Calk Syl-a-Pocket

    *See Terms of Use Below

    1. Application

Prepare pitch pocket—remove foreign material including water, frost, etc. Cut nozzle to desired size, puncture seal inside the nozzle. Gun/pump Chem-Calk® Syl-a-Pocket filler into the pitch pocket to desired level. It may be desirable to protect during the skinning and curing of the pitch pocket filler.

    2. Clean-Up

Cleanup should begin immediately before Chem-Calk® Syl-a-Pocket has begun to cure. The use of Bostik® Hand & Tool Towels will aid in removal of uncured and partially cured material. Cured Chem-Calk® Syl-a-Pocket filler can be difficult to remove without altering or damaging the surface to which it has been misapplied.
